Every year, J.D. Power conducts a massive study to determine which vehicles are most pleasing to their new buyers. The 2016 Initial Quality Study is considered an industry benchmark, and that’s why it is so gratifying to the staff at McKinnon Nissan dealer Montgomery AL that there are three Nissan models in the top three of their class, including the top-ranked 2016 Nisan Frontier.

The Initial Quality Study
JD Power surveys 84,000 new owners, asking them a wide variety of questions about the first 90 days of vehicle ownership. The answers determine how each model is ranked. Ranked at number 10, Nissan jumped ten spots in the rankings, and it leapfrogged over some premium and near-premium brands to do it. Among non-premium brands, it is ranked 6th. In addition, Nissan scored high in the America’s assembly line rankings.

2016 Nissan Frontier
Although it has more competitors than ever, Nissan’s mid-sized truck is clearly holding its own in terms of quality. Since it was rated on everything from materials to technology, it is impressive that the Frontier beat out a list of more expensive rivals. Get a Frontier price quote.

Altima and Murano
More competitive than ever, the 2016 Nissan Altima missed the top spot in the midsize sedan rankings by only a point. One of the best reviewed and most awarded crossovers today, the 2016 Nissan Murano claimed the third spot in rankings. With these high scores, Nissan covers every category: truck, sedan, and SUV. That speaks volumes about the overall quality of Nissan’s large fleet.
