In 1986, Nissan introduced a two-door sport utility vehicle based on its Hardbody truck platform. That SUV is the Pathfinder. In 1990, Nissan made the Pathfinder a four-door SUV, and it has been manufactured with four doors since that time. The second generation Pathfinder was introduced in 1996 and had a more rounded, larger exterior appearance. in 2005, the third generation was introduced to the market as a body-on-frame vehicle with available third row seating. Introduced in 2013, the fourth generation Pathfinder returned to a more luxurious unibody construction. The new 2019 pathfinder is a member of this more luxurious fourth generation.

2019 Nissan Pathfinder Intelligent Mobility
Nissan offers a suite of driver assistance features to help drivers see more of the world around them and possibly avoid incidents in the car. This set of features is called Nissan Intelligent Mobility. Some of the Nissan Intelligent mobility features include Automatic Emergency Braking, Intelligent Cruise Control, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Blind Spot Warning. Additionally, Pathfinder offers an available Intelligent Around View Monitor to give drivers a bird’s-eye view of the car to help avoid hidden objects when parking. Advanced navigation, smartphone integration and set of connected services are also included in the Nissan intelligent Mobility suite of features.

For the consumer on the go Nissan offers a Tri-Zone Entertainment system to combat boredom on long road trips. With the Tri-Zone system, front seat passengers can enjoy music while second row passengers use dual 8 inch monitors and wireless headsets to watch movies, play video games or work on a laptop. using HDMI inputs allows mirroring of compatible smartphones and tablets. The system can be controlled with the dash-mounted touch-screen display. All this entertainment plays through a Bose premium audio system that features 13 optimally places speakers and Acoustic Waveguide Technology.

2019 Nissan Pathfinder Cargo
For times when carrying additional cargo is necessary, the second and third row seats fold to create up to 79.5 cubic feet of virtually flat cargo space. Underfloor storage space adds additional cargo room as well as giving the ability to keep valuable items hidden from view. The underfloor storage is easily accessible even when the third row is upright to accommodate seven passengers. Accessing the cargo area even with full hands is made easier with the available motion activated liftgate.
