The 2017 Nissan Rogue kept everything good about outgoing models, and yet it managed to improve in nearly every area.

New Look

Cabin Changes
New finishers spruce up the door and instrument panel. Enhanced interior materials look and feel better. A new shift-knob design adds leather. The steering wheel is Nissan’s D-shaped original.
New Available Features
For the first time, it is offering a Motion-Activated Liftgate. This makes it easy to use the hatch. The available heated steering wheel is ready to warm drivers up on a cold day. The Rogue also adds memory capability for the side mirrors and the driver’s power chair.
Additional Safety Precautions
The Rogue has added forward emergency braking as a companion to pedestrian detection and forward collision warnings. You also get Intelligent Cruise Control to manage speed whether traffic is flowing or slowing. Also new, a lane departure alert is paired with an automated assist.
Quieter, More Refined Ride
Nissan added more sound absorption materials and additional damping materials to body pillars and floor. Thicker seals keep noise out. The rear door glass was thickened by 33 percent. More sealing and sound baffling measures were taken to minimize noise intrusion in the cabin.
New Packages
Recognizing that some SUV owners want a more individual approach to design, the new Platinum Reserve package has premium tan leather seating. These feature quilted leather inserts for a subtle, soft look.
