The 2019 Altima carries on the long lived popularity of Nissan’s flagship sedan. With over 6 models to choose from with multiple sub-models, you can easily build the Altima of your dreams. Let’s take a look at each of the trim levels and see which one best fits your needs.

S

As the flagship sedan on Nissan the Altima becomes more and more advanced every year. This allows even the base model to be packed full of innovative features that are sure to give you a pleasurable driving experience. The most affordable trim level on the 2019 Altima is the S model. The S model is offered in both a front wheel drive and an intelligent all wheel drive option for even better traction. Key features are going to include intelligent forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, 8 way power adjustable driver’s seat, NissanConnect 8″ touch screen display, and a RearView Monitor.

SR

Stepping up to the next trim level, you will get the SR model which also features a front wheel drive and all wheel drive option. The 2019 Altima SR is going to come equipped with all of the same great features as the S, but will have many of them updated or replaced with SR options. These features include 19″ aluminum wheels, sport-tuned suspension, paddle shifts in manual shift mode, dark chrome V-Motion grille, and LED headlights.

SV

Continuing the trend of front wheel and all wheel drive options, the SV, is one step above the popular SR and it has many new upgrades while featuring many of the same SR features. The Altima SV has key features that include ProPILOT assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, intelligent lane intervention, 17″ aluminum-alloy wheels, and a power sliding glass moonroof.

SL

Getting into the more luxurious side of things on the 2019 Altima, the SL trim level package is going to bring in more of the creature comforts that really make the Altima stand out. Just like each of the trim levels before the SL, it will also feature a front wheel drive and intelligent all wheel drive system as options. You will get many of the same features as trim level before it, however, you can also benefit from Nissan’s Door To Door navigation with Premium Traffic, NissanConnect Services with SiriusXM that includes a 3 year select and 6 month Premium Plus package, Bose Premium Audio with nine speakers, leather-appointed seats,4 way power adjustable front-passenger’s seat, and much more.

Platinum

The final trim level on the 2019 Nissan Altima is going to be the Platinum edition. This trim level will feature a Platinum intelligent all wheel drive and a Platinum VC-Turbo in a front wheel drive setup. They will both feature 19″ aluminum wheels, intelligent Around View monitor, driver’s memory seat, and interior accent lighting. Where the VC-Turbo stands out is with the 2.0L variable compression turbocharged DOHC 16 valve 4 cylinder motor. This motor allows for the VC-Turbo to put out an impressive 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.
