The Nissan is a compact sedan that was introduced in 2006. The first generation of the car also had a hatchback model. The second generation featured the sedan and the Versa Note hatchback. The 2019 Versa sedan marks the third generation of production for the Versa.

2019 Nissan Versa Sedan Performance
The 2019 Nissan Versa features a 109 horsepower, 1.6 liter, 4-cylinder engine. The standard transmission is a 5-speed manual transmission, but depending on the trim level you choose, there is an Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable) automatic transmission option. When equipped with the 5-speed manual transmission, the Versa is estimated to get 27 miles per gallon in the city, 36 miles per gallon on the highway and 30 combined miles per gallon. The automatic transmission models get an estimated 31 miles per gallon in the city, 39 miles per gallon on the highway and 34 combined miles per gallon.

All trims of the Versa feature chrome accented grille, chrome accented halogen headlights and body colored remote control side mirrors. The S and S Plus trim packages feature black door handles while the SV and SV Special Edition packages feature chrome door handles. All models feature front tire air deflectors, and all models except the S feature rear tire air deflectors. With the exception of the S, the trims feature a rear spoiler with an integrated LED brake light.

The 2019 Versa has seating for up to five people. The S and S Plus feature a 4-way adjustable driver’s seat, while the SV and SV Special Edition feature a 6-way manually adjustable driver’s seat. Available silver accents on the steering wheel and dash give a touch of elegance to this compact sedan. A 7-inch touchscreen display gives you access to hands-free phone usage features as well as the audio entertainment system. The Versa features a Bluetooth hands-free phone system as well as Siri EyesFree capabilities. The SV Special Edition features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities. Cupholders for front and back as well as bottle holders in the front doors make the daily commute a little more comfortable for both drivers and passengers.

Each Versa is designed with Zone Body construction that features front and rear crumple zones. In addition to seatbelts and the LATCH child restraint system, the Versa features advanced air bags including roof-mounted side curtain air bags designed to protect the heads of passengers in the event of an accident with a rollover. A vehicle dynamic control and traction control system help drivers to maintain control in a variety of conditions.
