Introduced in 2004, the Nissan Titan is relatively new to the full-size truck market. The second generation Titan was revealed at the 2015 North American International Auto Show. As part of the second generation, the 2019 Titan offers seven trim levels for drivers to choose the version that meets their individual needs.

Nissan Intelligent Mobility
The 2019 Titan can be equipped with a suite of driver assistance features known as Nissan Intelligent Mobility. This suite of features is designed to help drivers be more aware of their surroundings and to possibly help avoid potential danger. For assistance with parking, Nissan Intelligent Mobility offers an available Intelligent Around View Monitor that provides a virtual 360 degree view around the vehicle and gives an on-screen warning when moving objects are detected near the truck. The available Blind Spot Warning helps drivers to change lanes safely by monitoring the blind spot of the truck and giving drivers a warning if there is a vehicle in that area. When backing the Titan, drivers can do so with more confidence with the assistance of an available Rear Cross Traffic Alert that provides warning when cars are detected approaching the rear of the truck.

Technology
The Titan offers technology that keeps drivers connected to the world and even has the ability to send help when it’s needed. Nissan Door to Door Navigation provides directions directly to the driver’s chosen final destination. When it is necessary to park blocks away from the predetermined location, the door to door navigation will provide a walking route the rest of the way there. Premium Traffic, Bluetooth streaming audio and voice recognition are some additional features that are available with NissanConnect. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities allow for connectivity to favorite apps and steering wheel and voice controls allow for a more hands-free communication experience. NissanConnect uses an app, Amazon Alex or Google Assistant to lock or unlock the doors, flash the lights, remotely start the engine or even adjust the cabin temperature with voice commands.

Performance
The 2019 Titan is equipped with a Direct Injection Gasoline engine, a four-valve-per-cylinder design and Variable Valve Event and Lift Technology (VVEL) as well as a seven-speed automatic transmission that is designed for improved fuel efficiency and enhanced performance. When it comes to towing the Titan has available features to make the job easier for one person to do alone. Available rearview monitor, Trailer Brake Controller and Trailer Sway Control are all features that help provide a safer towing experience.
