Making its first appearance in 1986, the Nissan Pathfinder has been a staple in Nissan’s lineup as one of it’s best selling mid-size SUVs. While Nissan is mostly known for their smaller sedans, the Pathfinder paved its own road over the past few decades.

The 2018 Nissan Pathfinder SL is no different and provides drivers with many of the features and performance benefits they are looking for out of an SUV. Today we are going to look at what makes the SL trim level special and why it might be a good choice for you.

Powertrain

The 2018 Nissan Pathfinder was offered in a few different trim levels that provided their own unique options. The Pathfinder SL came equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine that produced an impressive 284 horsepower. This engine was backed by a 2 speed CVT overdrive transmission that allowed for easy shifting and an optimal fuel economy of 21 miles per gallon on average. It was available in a front wheel or four wheel drive configuration.

Exterior

Moving onto the exterior, the Pathfinder was offered in 6 different color: Brilliant Silver, Caspian Blue, Glacier White, Glacier White (fleet), Gun Metallic, and Magnetic Black. It featured many different exterior options with some of the most important being a rear spoiler, rear defogger, privacy glass, roof rack, 18″ painted alloy wheels, all season tires, fixed liftgate window, hands-free power liftgate door, cargo tie downs, and much more.

Interior

Moving onto the interior, you will notice that the Pathfinder has gotten quite the upgrade as compared to years past.
