The 2017 Rogue Sport is a separate vehicle, not just a trim level of the 2017 Rogue. Choosing between them is easier if you get to know the differences and similarities. Find your next ride at McKinnon Nissan dealer serving Montgomery AL.

Size and Standards
The Rogue is twelve inches longer than the 2017 Rogue Sport. Obviously the regular Rogue has a bigger hold, but the Sport hold measures 22 cu.ft. Rogues have Divide-N-Hide organizational features and a fold-down front seat. The Rogue Sport has tie-down cargo hooks and an available Divide-N-Hide system of its own. Both are built with Nissan’s gliding wing design language. This allows for more room in the cabin. The regular Rogue has zero gravity seats to keep you more comfortable. It also offers a third row.

Drivability and Performance
Since it is smaller, the Rogue Sport enjoys a tighter turn circle and a more carlike feel. The four-cylinder engine cranks out 147 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2017 Nissan Rogue engine generates 175 lb.-ft. of torque to handle the bigger crossover. Highway gas mileage is rated at a healthy 33 mpg. The Rogue Hybrid makes it even easier to save at the fuel pump.

Safety and Automation
Nissan is making its Intelligent Shield technology available on both the Rogue and Rogue Sport. Perhaps the most important feature is the available autobrake. It can reduce the crossover’s speed and prevent an accident. Intelligent Cruise Control works with the driver to make life easier.
